What are Dental Emergencies?
A dental emergency is a problem that many people experience throughout their lives. Even with the best home care and routine trips into the dental office for cleanings and exams, an emergency can happen. Emergencies can leave you in pain, feeling uncomfortable and unable to get through the day feeling like yourself. This is why we offer immediate emergency care to new and existing patients of all ages.
Why is treatment for Dental Emergencies needed?
If you fail to treat a dental emergency right away, it probably will get worse over time. In some cases, the issue may go away temporarily and then come back. To prevent the need for further treatment, it’s best to get the emergency taken care of early on. The process of treating an emergency is quick, easy and done as comfortably as possible in our office.

What can be expected when coming in for treatment of Dental Emergencies?
To begin the treatment, we’ll sit you comfortably in one of our operatories. We then examine your teeth to determine the root cause of the problem. If need be, we’ll take x-rays to help in identifying the issue. We are able to provide you with prompt and effective treatment before leaving the office. This ensures that you’ll leave without the pain and discomfort that you had before coming in. If you have an infection, we’ll recommend taking antibiotics to clear the infection before treatment can be started.
